

Miss Black California USA 2005, Rachelle Cain was raised in Elk Grove, California. She graduated from Elk Grove High School and went on to attend the University of Redlands. While attending, the University Rachelle was involved in many activities such as an Associate students University of Redlands Senator, a representative of the Board of Trustees, Vice President of the African American Association, and President of Alpha Xi Omicron Sorority. Rachelle graduated in 2002 from the UofR and went on to attend National University where she graduated in 2004 with a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management. Rachelle currently works, as an Executive Team Leader for Mervyn’s, where she enjoys a fast paced environment.
Rachelle currently holds the title as Miss Black California USA. During her reign, she spends her time dedicating herself to her platform Child molestation and Domestic Violence. She has been an active advocate for WEAVE (Women against a Violent Environment) where she has participated in events to raise money and bring awareness to the organization. Rachelle also does public speaking appearances and pageant consulting. In 2005, Rachelle will represent The Golden State in the Miss Black USA pageant.
